Baptiste Lake
has Northern Pike to 25lbs, Walleye
(Sometimes called Pickerel) to 10lbs, Perch, Lake
Whitefish, and Burbot. There are great
opportunities to hook onto a very large Pike in this
lake. This lake is west of the town of Athabasca.
Calling Lake
is 60 km north of the town of Athabasca. This
lake has Pike to 20 plus pounds, Walleye to 12 lbs,
Whitefish, Perch and Burbot. This is a very
beautiful and big lake, with great opportunities to
catch either trophy Pike or Walleye. One of the
top lakes in Canada for catching large Walleye.
Fawcett Lake
is located approximately 2.5 hours north
of Edmonton. This lake has Walleye, Northern Pike,
Perch, Burbot, and Lake Whitefish. This lake
produces great catches of Northern Pike and Walleye,
at times you need to rest from reeling in fish.
North Buck Lake
is located east of Boyle. This lake has
Northern Pike to 20 lbs, Walleye, Jumbo Yellow
Perch, Lake Whitefish, and Burbot.
Orloff Lake
has Northern Pike, Walleye, Perch, Lake
Whitefish, and Burbot. This lake is a great Walleye
location for ice fishing. Orloff lake is about 80
km north of Athabasca.
Rock Island Lake
is only another 45 kms north of
Calling Lake. This lake has Northern Pike to 20
lbs, Walleye to 8 lbs, Whitefish, Perch and Burbot.
This is a beautiful wilderness lake with many
structures to fish at.

Hanmore Lake
is located 1.5 hrs northeast of Edmonton,
in the county of Smoky Lake. This lake has
tremendous Northern Pike action. There is always a
good chance to hook onto a 10 to 20 pound Pike.
Other game fish in this lake are Perch, burbot and
Lake Whitefish.
Lac La Nonne is located
approximately one hour north of Edmonton. Within
this lake, there are numerous opportunities to catch
Northern Pike, Walleye, Perch, Burbot, or Lake
Whitefish.
Long Island Lake
is located 35 kms north of Westlock and
has an abundance of Northern Pike and Yellow Perch.
Pigeon Lake
is a 1.5 hour drive south of Edmonton. This
lake houses a good population of Northern Pike,
non-stop Walleye action, Perch, Lake Whitefish, and
Burbot.
