If you are looking to experience a new exciting adventure, but don't know what you are searching for; Reel Angling Adventures may have the adventure you desire.  Come and join us, as we guide you along the beautiful scenic Athabasca River aboard our 16 foot explorer jet boat...Athabasca River has many areas where you can fish.  This river does produce some large fish; Northern Pike to 20 plus pounds, Walleye to 14lbs.  There are always opportunities to catch other game fish such as: Goldeye, Rocky Mountain Whitefish, Burbot, or even Grayling.  The Alberta record Walleye was caught in the Athabasca/Pembina River, just over 15 lbs.  We fish in the Athabasca County, Smith (Lesser Slave River) region, and the Fort Assinboine region.  At times this river is as good as a fly-in fishing lake and only a 90 minute drive from Edmonton, makes a great day trip.  Best times to reserve your fishing trips on this river are June 1st to June 20th and between mid July to October 31st.

The Athabasca River is one of Alberta's unique hidden treasures.  This river starts as a glacier in the Rocky Mountains near Jasper, Alberta and flows approximately 1231 kms through Northern Alberta draining into Lake Athabasca. This river is surrounded by pristine fauna, offering ample wildlife viewing along the shore or in the sky above and houses a wonderful population of game fish, such as Walleye, Northern Pike, Burbot, Goldeye, Rocky Mountain Whitefish, Bull Trout, and Rainbow Trout.

Reel Angling Adventures is proud to offer you this wonderful opportunity to explore and experience this river as we guide you in our 16 foot explorer jet boat.  Come with us as we take you to some of the best spots along the river and try to hook on to some Monster Northern Pike in the back sloughs or Trophy Walleye along the creek mouths of this majestic river.
